The weekend went by in a blur of pool parties, roulette and cocktails - just your typical weekend in Vegas!
On Friday, we headed to Wet Republic for their Hot 100 pool party. It was certainly an experience! Think clubbing atmosphere, but in the daytime, and everyone wearing bikinis.
On the evening, we'd arranged to go to for a meal at Mon Ami Gabi in Paris, and it was absolutely lovely!
Afterwards, we went for a nightcap. Rach looked very classy...
...me on the other hand...
...however, Rach didn't want to miss out on the fun, and ended up stealing it from me on the way home! I didn't mind - I don't think I've had a worse pina colada in my life, but at least I got a cool glass (which may or may not be making its way home as I write this).
We spent the next morning at our pool, trying to escape the 112 degree heat (!)
In the afternoon, we braved it and visited the Bellagio fountains (again, because they're Rach's favourite thing to do in Las Vegas) with Andy and his brother Matt, who'd come to Vegas for the weekend.
On the evening, we did something really Vegas - we finally went gambling, at the casino in MGM Grand. We mostly played roulette and blackjack, and walked away having lost only a little bit of money.
It really was a fantastic, unforgettable holiday - we're sure we'll be back one day! Thanks for a brilliant week, Rach! xx
