SF Zoo.

We're going to the zoo!

 

San Francisco Zoo is a pretty compact zoo, about a half hour's walk from campus, and right by the beach.
It was another beautiful October weekend in SF!

First we headed over to Africa, where we saw the lemurs and the giraffes...

 

 

 

...including this weird looking pair!

 

We saw the gorillas, including the huge silverback, and the rhino.

 

 

We also saw the lions and tigers and bears (oh my) but this was about as close as we got to touching them!

 

We saw the penguins (so cute!) and one very lazy-looking hippo.
 

 

The meerkats are always hilarious too!

 

We thought this one was looking a little chunky.

 

 

We saw tons more too, from polar bears to kangaroos!

My favourite animals were the penguins and the tiny brightly coloured frogs in the Amphibian house (sorry AJ!).
